Tim Hammond’s pioneering contributions to the genital autonomy movement began in 1989 with the co-founding of the National Organization of Restoring Men. He later founded the National Organization to Halt the Abuse and Routine Mutilation of Males, produced the award-winning documentary ‘Whose Body, Whose Rights?’ that was broadcast on numerous PBS stations across the U.S., published two large scale surveys documenting long-term circumcision harm and a survey of 1,800 foreskin restorers. He is webmaster for the Global Survey of Circumcision Harm, co-founded the Children’s Health & Human Rights Partnership/Canada, established the Genital Autonomy Advocacy archives at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, and is a Member of the Brussels Collaboration on Bodily Integrity. Tim is honored to be the first Board President and Executive Director of the Genital Autonomy Legal Defense and Education Fund.
